About Quandary Peak Counseling

Quandary Peak Counseling is a Denver-based psychological practice built on a simple conviction: that good therapy requires more than symptom management. It requires actually understanding the person — their history, their relationships, their values, and the moments when those come apart.

We offer a range of clinical services for adults and adolescents navigating some of life's more demanding territory — from acute distress to longstanding patterns that have simply stopped working. Our clinicians bring different backgrounds and areas of expertise, and we work collaboratively to match each client with the right fit.

Below are the areas we work in most often. If you don't see your concern listed, reach out. This isn't an exhaustive list, and we'd rather have a conversation than have someone rule themselves out prematurely.

Trauma & PTSD — depth-oriented and evidence-based treatment for a wide range of traumatic experiences, including assault, accident, occupational exposure, and childhood adversity.

Depression & Mood Disorders — from persistent low mood to complex or treatment-resistant presentations, including bipolar spectrum disorders.

Anxiety — generalized anxiety, panic, phobias, OCD spectrum concerns, and the hypervigilance that often accompanies trauma.

Grief & Loss — including complicated grief, anticipatory loss, and losses that don't fit conventional timelines or categories.

Personality & Relational Patterns — longer-term work with clients exploring how they relate to themselves and others, and why certain patterns keep repeating.

Existential Concerns — questions of meaning, purpose, identity, and what to do when life feels hollow or directionless, even when everything looks fine on paper.

Psychosis & Schizophrenia Spectrum — psychotherapy and evaluation for individuals living with or recovering from psychotic experiences, in a setting that takes the full person seriously.

Adolescent & Young Adult Development — identity, relationships, life transitions, and the particular pressures of early adulthood.

Body Image & Self-Worth — support for clients navigating diet culture, weight stigma, and their relationship with their own bodies.
