Adolescence and early adulthood are among the most demanding periods of human development — and among the most underestimated. The pressures young people navigate today are real and significant: identity formation, academic and social stress, family dynamics, early relational experiences, and the particular disorientation of trying to figure out who you are while the world keeps asking you to perform a version of yourself you haven’t settled into yet.
At Quandary Peak Counseling, we work with adolescents and young adults navigating a wide range of concerns — depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, identity questions, and the transitions that mark this stage of life. We approach this work with genuine respect for where young people actually are, rather than where adults think they should be.
Maddy Bollinger, LPC, has particular depth in adolescent and young adult work, with clinical experience spanning school-based, intensive outpatient, and community settings. She brings warmth, authenticity, and a genuine attunement to the concerns of this age group — including a capacity to meet young people where they are rather than where the adults in their lives would prefer them to be.
We work with adolescents individually and, where appropriate, in coordination with families. Parents seeking support in understanding and navigating their adolescent’s experience are also welcome to reach out.
We offer in-person appointments in Denver and telehealth throughout Colorado. Call 720-675-7918 or request an appointment online to get started.
