Our Approach

What we treat:

Trauma from assault, accident, or medical experience; childhood abuse and neglect; occupational trauma (first responders, corrections officers, healthcare workers, and others); complex and developmental trauma; traumatic loss; and PTSD in its various presentations.

How we work:

Our clinicians draw on Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), exposure-based approaches, trauma-focused CBT, and existential-psychodynamic therapy, tailored to the person and the history. Dr. Cole is board-certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) and recognized as an expert in traumatic stress by the American Board for Experts in Traumatic Stress. Maddy Bollinger and Mya Holzshu bring additional training in trauma-focused CBT and works with adolescents and young adults navigating trauma in developmental context.
